Hepatobiliary Surgery
A very complex name matching the complexity of these organs.
The Liver, biliary tract and pancreas are important abdominal glands that are vital for your normal healthy function.
Unfortunately they are also common sites for cancers and for calculus (stone) disease.
These organs are deep in the body and hence very difficult to reach. Complex open surgery may be required in selected cases to perform safe and effective surgery.
